Entrance rules to Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) for foreign citizens.
Foreign citizens have an opportunity to get education in MESI in the forms of full-time and extramurros training either on the state or the contract basis. If a foreign citizen wants to get training on the state basis he must apply to the Ministry of Education of his country and if he wants to be trained on the contract basis he must apply directly to MESI.
For foreign citizens MESI has the analogous forms of training for getting Master's Degree and post-graduate courses (Aspirantura and Doktorantura) and qualification improvement in the form of probation.
MESI has a dormitory for foreign citizens, which is not free of charge.
Foreign citizens are enrolled to MESI if they successfully pass tests on the Russian language and Mathematics. In the case when foreign citizens do not speak Russian they must get training at the Preparatory Department of MESI during one year. Entering MESI foreign citizens have to hand in the following documents: copy of the certificate of secondary education in Russian, copy of the birth certificate in Russian, medical certificate of the health condition.

Payments for training each term are made in roubles equivalent to US dollar which is counted according to the official rate of the Central Bank of the RF at the moment of payment.
MESI graduates get a discount when entering Master's Degree course, post-graduate course (Aspirantura and Doktorantura) and having probation at the rate of 25-30%. Payment for living in the dormitory is made according to an additional agreement.
